Place : Mawlamyinegyun Date : June 13-14, 2008Our team left Yangon by boat on 12 June and arrived Mawlamyinegyun on 13 June at 05:30am. After loading all the supplies, the team proceeded to Myit Toe Village by small boat. It took 5 hours to reach there. There are 156 households and the main requirement there is to restart plowing the paddy fields. They have lost a few animals and they will need either animals or the tractors to start their business.
We visited Aung Chan Thar Village Tract on 14 June by small boat. The boat ride took only 10 minutes. Since this village is very close to the urban area, they get little assistance from the individual donors. There are 452 households and it includes 5 villages (Kyun Chan Chaung village, Mway Myu Yay village, Ywar Le Paing village, Lay Number village and Kwin Hte Su village) under that. Our donation (Expected beneficiaries: 600 households) | | Village | Rice | Oil | Beans | Potatoes | Total household | | 1 | Myit Toe | 32 cups | 0.20 vs | 0.20 vs | 0.20 vs | 156 | | 2 | Kyun Chan Chaung | 24 cups | 0.15 vs | 0.20 vs | 0.20 vs | 262 | | 3 | Mway Myu Yay | 24 cups | 0.15 vs | 0.20 vs | 0.20 vs | 46 | | 4 | Ywar Le Paing | 24 cups | 0.15 vs | 0.20 vs | 0.20 vs | 59 | | 5 | Lay Number | 24 cups | 0.15 vs | 0.20 vs | 0.20 vs | 39 | | 6 | Kwin Hte Su | 24 cups | 0.15 vs | 0.20 vs | 0.20 vs | 46 | |
